The Courthouse Inn, Clinton

My wife and I traveled into Clinton recently to attend the funeral of my aunt. Coming in on 24 East we first tried The Comfort Inn, they were booked up but the front desk clerk recommended The Courthouse Inn. We were a little leary of staying at a Bed & Breakfast, our last experience sharing bathrooms and such didn't leave us with a good feeling. Well, we were amazed that a town the size of Clinton offered a B&B with private bathrooms, DVD players in every room, along with a huge selection of movies for guest to watch. The owner also said they offer a wireless network, so next time we will have to bring our laptop along. Our room was spacious, very clean, furnished with antiques, overall very comfortable, great nights sleep. One thing we had a bit of problem with was it is located a little off the beaten path, but once we found it, no problems. They matched the price from the Comfort Inn also, guess our first B&B experience wasn't a fair guide for us to go by. Highly recommend staying at The Courthouse Inn if you are in Clinton.
