Negative comments about a lack of high quality hotels in an economically depressed area are ignorant. The lack of money in the City built by Springs Industries has allowed for a slump in investment capital to remediate old buildings downtown. That building is old, really old and with time nothing stays perfect. The hotel used to have one of the best restaurants in town. If USA companies would bring some manufacturing back perhaps there could be another fine restaurant in its place along with an updated Hotel.
