room was clean ,staff was nice, frist day came in sat afternoon staff made us a pot of coffee will stay the next time we go to jacksonville ,but will not use travelocity it took half hour on phone to get room will call sunset direct

We definately plan to go back!

After my husband had been gone for over a month training in California, I decided to rent us a room for the night. We gpt the jacuzzi suite. The owner was very friendly, and worked with me because my husband didnt come home on the original planned date. We liked it very much, and plan to go back for another overnight visit. If you're thinking about it, do it. They let you see the room ahead of time.

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, LOCATION WAS GREAT,CLOSE TO SHOPPING AND RESTERAUNTS. DISLIKES......ROACH WAS KILLED IN WINDOW SEAL ,MOSTLY A YOUNG CROWD STAY THERE.

It looked okay from the outside. It was terrible on the inside. The rate was almost as expensive as nearby, better name, hotels. I have stayed at many hotels in this area. For a similar price I recommend the Microtel Hotel just down the road. If there are any positive feedbacks for the Sunset Inn, they have to be fake!

Disgusting Place

The first room they gave me was not even clean...the sheets were dirty and stank...the bathroom was filthy. They gave me another room which was cleaned, though. However, the ambiance of the hotel was not that good and the condition of the walkways and stairwells had a lot to be desired.

Awesome Rennovations

The room we stayed in was extremely nice---very spacious and clean!! Everytime I am in Jacksonville I stay here and enjoy the time I spend in the hotel---I highly recommend this hotel!!!! : )-

The $51 rate is a scam. I called July 4th to reserve for July 8th. No 51 dollar room available. Was told that corporations, book 2-3 mo. in advance for those rooms. I asked why the $51 dollar rate was still advertised on your site and it is not available ? The woman said she did not know. I asked for whom and at what number should I call to complain and was asked to call July 5th in the morning for "AJ" the asst. mgr.. I shall and the result will be posted here.

Great Motel!!

I thought the motel was in perfection location to all dining, shopping, and even the base. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nice and clean. Great motel for the money!
