Goldston's Beach, Elizabethtown

We stay here year after yr. since my oldest was 2 and he is 11. This is the nicest place to stay...especially in the NEW building. I love that you are feet from the lake and the kids are totally safe at all times. You can leave your gear on the beach all day and NO ONE will bother it! Try that at the BIG beaches......This is a great place to take the kids! My kids always ask when we are going back.We stay at 1 more place if this one is booked because it does get booked! Only because it is so great!!

our friends and my family went for a weekend. when we left i swept the sand off my porch area so did my friend I left trash in the trash can and a water melon rind in a bag beside the trash can it would"nt fit in the can.A day or so after my return home I received a letter that said we left trash on the floor and did"nt clean the rm.so don"t call to rent anymore.I was appalled at this .I was at a motel andhad stayed at much nicer !Had to keep shoes on the carpet was so filthy.NEVER knew u were to clean yur room before leaving I could understand if it was a place u needed to clean before leaving,I was floored u would think it"s the RITZ but FAR from it.and the guard was racist toward spanish & afro americans,would"nt stay there again anyway and showed the letter to co workers and other friends they like my self thought the letter was a joke and I contacted the Better Bussiness Bureau.Somenoe else who stayed there before said that whitelake was a small town and still was backwards in a lot of ways.And I totally AGREE !!! I would"nt suggest this place to any one!!! Our stay was the 3RD weekend in May Nancy

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT WHITE LAKE, PEACEFUL, SAFE ,FUN, QUIET, RELAXING, FRIENDLY STAFF, PEOPLE, I HAVE BEING GOING DOWN TO WHITE LAKE FOR 30 PLUS YEARS, MY MOM 51 YEARS THIS WEEK, AND MY DAUGHTER 17 YEARS, WHAT A GREAT FAMILY GET AWAY. WE GO EVERY YEAR SAME TIME SO WE CAN MEET UP WITH FRIENDS THAT WE HAVE MET OVER THE YEARS, IT'S JUST LIKE A BIG FAMILY REUNION. WE LUV THEM ALL.

this picture that is shown is of my family taken two years ago. my family get together every year there and spend a week together catching up, and having a blast in the water and at meal times. this year my step-sister will be getting married there on the pier we call ours. Only because we sit in the same place every year. kind of funny. As soon as my son gets out of school it is the first thing he asks about, when do we leave for White Lake. I just hope that this will go on for years to come.

I have love White Lake and Goldston's for so long now I can't remember. My sisters husband turned us on to this place at least 20 years ago maybe more. We all went together for many years seeing how we had small children and this is the only place that I feel like the water is safe you can see to the bottom everywhere, so much room to swim. I believe all our children learn to swim there and now this year I will be taking my 5 year old grandchild because he to is a waterbug. I can't wait to go and enjoy the fact that once I get there I don't have to get in my car and go any where until time to come home. There is a grocery store a pizza/soda shop, a nice sit down restaurant with a great buffet a shop for floats and souvenirs, games, bingo, rides, putt-putt,go-carts plus walking distance to other shops and things to do. I know he will enjoy it and will just like my kids hate to leave and beg to know when are coming back.

My parents brought us here when I was a child. When I got married my husband wouldn't go because he thought there was "nothing like the beach". Then when my children got old enough that I could travel with them alone, I started to bring them. We've been every year for about 10 years now. This year, we weren't going to be able to go because of the economy but my 20 year old daughter just called and said even if only for one night mom we have to go. It's tradition!! Calling today. :))

the water was bad it was not Clean the hotel people was not very friendly the only thing that was good about our stay was the housekeeping .they were very friendly will not be staying here again also they was alot of nails comeing out of the board on the step going to our rooms

I absolutely LOVE Goldstons! It used to be a family tradition to go every year, since the other half of my family lives over near there. All of the kids have grown up, and it seems I'm the only one who still has the interest to go, so my dad has taken me a couple times over the past couple summers, allowing me to take a friend each time. They all fell in love with it as much as I did and often ask when we're going back. I'm 20 now, and so I'm able to go on my own. I'm taking another friend, someone else who, I believe, will get addicted to White Lake. I'm very excited to be going back, as I have fond memories of the place. It's very affordable - cheaper than the Days Inn about 15 minutes away - and has the carnival at night along with an arcade and a Dairy Queen. Plus, there's a miniature golf course and go-karts just across the street. You'll never be bored at White Lake!

I disliked the dirty water and more pier space is needed. I have always heard that White Lake is a "clean" lake, crystal clear water with a white sandy bottom. The mobile home we stayed in was excellent and very clean. Would love more pier space for these homes.

My family and I have been going here for at least 42 years. Up until I was 16 years old I thought this was "the beach". My parents would always take us a few times a year. We always brought our children who loves to come just as much as we do. Now our grandchildren come along too. Even though us 3 kids have gone in different directions, we always meet up here at least once a year for a good ole family get together. The more the merrier.
