Think twice when paying in advance for reservation
By BarbaraN, 9/6/09
We had planned a long weekend here with our daughter and grandchildren. We were scheduled to arrive on Fri. of Labor Day weekend. About an hour from home, our RV broke down. It was overheating. We eventually limped home, stopping every few miles to let it cool down and then add water. I called as soon as we arrived home to let them know we wouldn't be there that night. The lady I spoke to was very nice and understanding. I was offered a chance to make another reservation and the money already paid would be applied to it. I couldn't plan ahead at the moment, but they would allow us to call at a later date. The site would be opened up to another camper. After about 10 minutes, my husband said if we could get the radiator repaired in the morning, we could still make it. I called back and asked them to keep the spot open. We were hoping to still be able to salvage part of the weekend. This time I spoke to a man who was also very pleasant. The next day it became obvious it wouldn't be fixed in time for us to go at all this weekend. Around noon I called again and told them. This time their attitude was very different. When I asked if there was any possibility of getting even a partial refund, they rudely told me I gave up the offer when it was offered to me. I did, but I wanted so much to be able to still go that I held on to the hope that we would. Our grandchildren were so disappointed that we still hoped we could make the trip. The site was paid for when the reservation was made, a requirement of the RV park. I understood, but was shocked at the change in attitude. I don't know if they rented the space to another camper, but being a holiday weekend I suspect they may have. We live on a fixed income as my husband and I are both retired, we can't just throw money away. I understand paying for Fri. night as we never showed up. I would never again pay in advance because one never knows when an emergency will arise. My entire family had been looking forward to this weekend and we were all very disappointed. I know you are wondering about the stars I gave it. It wouldn't let me submit the review without completing everything. I could only rate it based on what we saw when we stopped in to check it out on our way home from another campground a couple of months ago. Please don't go by what I rated it, just be sure if you make a reservation and pay for it in advance, you will be able to go. That is the point I am trying to get across.

the most worst place we have ever stayed at
By Randee, 5/26/09
we wanted to spoil our selves and stay in a camp group with full hook ups and went on line and found this place with a cement slab and got there and the check in person was so rud gave us a map and never even showed us where to park all he said is your in number 7 we found number 7 after having to drive all over the park. mind you we had a 38 footer 5th wheel we found spot and got all set up and then the rud check in man can over and told us we were in the wrong space and we had to move after we were all set up and then he showed us a very small spot with no cement clab like add said and had to pay the same price as everyone else it had rain and all the water from other sites was sitting in our spot which we did not have enough room for our trailer to fit had to step out our door into a puddle of water. The trailer that moved in where we were to begin with was a 12 foot pull trailer in there. were not very happy the way they there were sveral spots open and no one was put in the spots all week end. all in all they will never see us back there again

Great for Trailers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/15/07
We stayed up there last year in one of the RV spots it was really cold that time of year, but it was a pleasant park, no rowdiness, everyone was well behaved, not crowded a definate plus, and great atv trails. We will be going back again!

Could be awesome- NEEDS HELP!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/07
It has potential if it had management that knew how to run it. Facilities aren't kept up well, not enough staff and difficult to reach anyone at the facility. Futons in rooms are horrible to sleep on. Rooms not supplied and replenished on stay-overs. Rudeness from management and staff!
