Motel 6 Commerce, Commerce

We arrived about 8:45 PM after 3 hrs. of trying to get around Atlanta traffic and being on the road for about 12 hours. The price was the same or a little more than other motels nearby but we were very tired. The room had a very musty smell; the tub was filthy; there were no towel racks in the room as it appeared it had been recently painted, but they never replaced any of the racks. There were no amenities such as you'd find at other similar motels - shampoo, soap, kleenex, or even a clock in the room. When we turned back the bedding we were surprised to find what appeared to be a flea in the bed. There were also other bugs flying around the room. Only half the heating unit worked and it also was dirty. Although we were exhausted, we got little sleep due to noises of people outside during the night (trying to get in the wrong room - ours), and neighbors getting up very early (5 AM). Because of all this, we were on the road again before 6 AM - very unusual for us. If this is typical of Budget Inn (our first stay there), it will definitely be our last.
