The Little Shamrock Motel, Murfreesboro

The double room is very nice and roomy for the family with all the amenities. Inlaws stayed in a single,was clean but not enough room, still a great little place for the money and a retreat.

Would give value 6 stars, the pool made the kids vacation. The staff and owners are very nice and go out of their way to make for a great stay. Room clean and lots of space. Nice area outside to enjoy the evening. Having the microwave and fridge in the room was great. If your bringing the family this is a great place.

This place was awsome they make it as comfy as home big rooms a coffee pot in each room a fridge tv microwave a small dinning table with chairs tv dressers a closet all i needed was a stove! the rooms were big too the bath room was super clean! The bath tub was kinda small but the shower preasure ROCKED! I would stay here again any time! All of the staff was super nice and very helpful! The pool was perfect the avg temp outside was in the high 60s during the day and the 40s at night the pool was nice it was indoors the perfect temp and they water slide was super fun! The hot tube is for two 16 and over only :) it was so nice esspicially after a long hike in the woods. the last night we were there some jerk put gum in the hot tub and the owner she got to work emptying and cleaning it just for me! The place was so nice we enjoyed sitting outside eating. They even have a grill and a smoker you can use its so peaceful and quite and at night its lit up real pretty. they are very pet friendly the owners had two sweet dogs and we saw several dogs(arkansa has leash law!) but they have a dog walking area over by the pool house. The breakfeast is served from 8 to 10 it was simple but good they even get fresh donut holes from a local bakery and the ez mart is within walking distance the square is also within walking distance its a little further down but not much. There is a grocery store about maybe half a mile from the motel and plenty of lil resturaunts around town all the locals will tell you which are good everyone in that town is super friendly! There is also a sonic just by the grocery store! The lake is only 6 mies away! All in all if i ever decide to go back to murfreesbro my family will be staying with the Shamrock for sure we loved loved loved it!

The web site shows that this hotel has refrigerators, micro waves, coffee makers, and many other aminities. Our room had a TV. You had to walk out of the bath to wash your hands after using the bath room. The room was ruff and bugs were crawing up and down the wall. It also had no closet to put your close in. There was no Ice or Ice bucket available for the room.The pool and hot tub was extreamly dirty for a inside covered area. I am sorry I will never stay at this hotel ever again or recommend it to anyone as a plece to stay.

Good value with friendly people. Breakfast available on premises. Clean rooms, good service. I would stay here again.

On our vacation to the diamond mine we stayed at the Heritage. After one night we moved to the Little Shamrock. The room was cleaner, and the beds were nicer. The indoor pool was heated. All around we had a wonderful vacation at the Shamrock. We hope to return real soon.

I called a week before our family vacation. A lady told me that they would have a vacancy for the time we were there. She told me to call the day before we were leaving to secure a room. I called the day before and the guy told me that he had no vacancies. On our trip there we noticed that they had vacancies the whole time we were there. If you need a place to stay while you are there you need to stay at the American Hertiage Inn down the road they will accomadate you.

This motel at present is under construction. The owner is only willing to pay approximately 1/3 of prevailing wage for labor, just a few cents more than the federal minimum wage. I implore anyone working in the construction trades to not do business with this company unless the prevailing wage for your trade is met.

This was truly a good place to stay. It was well within our budget and when we arrived we were surprised at how clean, quiet, and nice this motel was. The only thing we can think of to complain about is the bed being on the hard side and one of our rooms didnt have a closet. But really the pros far out way the cons. This is a great place with friendly staff, a great heated indoor pool, and clean spacious rooms.

We just got back from Murfreesboro. We went diamond hunting and floated the Caddo River in conoes. Our stay was based out of the Shamrock. We were totally pleased with our stay, the accomodations, the town, the food, the people and the distance from other services(beer)...Definitly worth the price of the stay. The staff and service were great and we will use their services again the next time we travel that way.
