Great Value, Pleasant Surprise
By ,
Although we were a little apprehensive to book this hotel after reading the reviews, we just couldn’t beat the price. We arrived, expecting the worst, but it was actually really pleasant. We plan on staying there again. *The room was big, clean, and air-conditioned, but it still had that slight Ana-slime air odor. (Anaheim is hot and humid, for those of you who don’t know) *I thought the bed was comfy...but my boyfriend disagreed. *Our room was pretty quiet, but we stayed in the singles area…no kiddies. *The toiletries were nothing fancy, but everyone brings their own these days. (Make sure you bring your own towels...Seriously…they are not joking when they say they are tiny and thin!) *Great location. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the free Timon tram that takes you to the entrance of Disneyland/California Adventure/Downtown Disney, so you save on parking. (Keep in mind, my legs are probably a lot longer than your children’s. If your wee ones are really young, you may want to pile them in a stroller) *The Jacuzzi was awesome after walking around Disneyland all weekend. The pool looked nice, but never made it in. *Nearby restaurants, including CoCo’s, several Denny’s, several McDonald’s, Tony Roma’s, Subway, and convenience stores. *There was always hot water to take showers, however the nozzle is backwards (hot is cold and cold is hot) *The air-conditioner had no knobs or switches, but it worked great…you just had to flip the light switch on next to it. *TV was big and had cable. The fridge was a descent size, and the microwave worked well. (In other words, bring your own food, like sandwiches, to save a few bucks on theme park food!)

Worst Hotel Ever
By ,
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was rude, the room was awful (we were told we'd be getting a queen sized bed and were given a full), the carpet was sticky, the countertops in the bathroom were PAINTED white, the television didn't have a power button, AND the smoke alarm beeped all night! I will NEVER stay here again. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!

Hated it Hated it never again
By ,
First off yes the price was great. But the room was not so great. The beds flet like you were sleeping on to box springs not good at all. The carpet was so dirty. There was no hot water at all. They say they had HBO put that was a lie as well. I will never stay in this place again ever. If you have children do not stay here it is not clean at all and the beds suck. Very unhappy customer. We expected so much more
By ,
Our friends just asked us what we thought about the hotel because they needed a place to stay the following weekend - we told them no way! Our toilet ran all night, a/c didn't work, parking was terrible, customer service was lacking as well. We asked to change rooms the next day and the next room was a step up - but pretty much anything would have been.

Good
By ,
It was all good but just beware of the ice. When we emptied our ice bucket it had hair and milk in the bottom of it. I ate alot of ice that night and it made me sick thinking about what was left in the bottom of the bucket..

The worst!!!!!! BUGS, BUGS, BUGS
By ,
please verify the change/cancellation policy prior to purchase completion. *There should be an exception to this rule!!!see below messages for details.. My stay at the Alamo Inn - Anaheim,CA - Apr 29, 07 Posted By Millerplus3, 1 reviews, a 43 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure I hated every thing about it. It was a horrible experience. My Family and I spent the day at Disneyland. So we were unable check in early. This hotel was the worst. It had roaches, crickets, Ant's and mold everywhere on the inside of the 3 units we rented out for the night. Since we had booked our rooms through expedia, the clerk referred us back to them to get a complete refund. It was 12:00 midnight! Both the clerk and the expedia agent were uncaring about the living conditions. So needles to say we demanded to see other rooms available. We then found three rooms that we could put the children to bed, and keep the lights on all night; so the roaches would not come out! Since we had planned a long weekend in Anaheim, CA - Disneyland, once we got over the fact that we would not be giving a full-refund. We then accepted the 3 rooms that seemed to be a little better and we were very tired, we had to leave our luggage in the car until the next morning. My particular room was on the second level. I sat up all night with the lights on and so did the neighbors in many of the units around me they were physically outside standing in the walk way in front of there rooms talking loudly drinking alcohol, smoking etc. I heard high heel shoes walking all night long. There were lots of young males and females in and out, cell phones ringing all night it is a very nasty place to have any type of decent human being stay. It was very clear to me what was going on. It was very close to the THEME PARK but it was not worth the pain we suffered so far away from home. I would not stay at this hotel again if it was free for a month and they reimbursement me for my entire vacation. It was that bad. And I will tell a friend about!! So please check out the details closely when using expedia for your travel stay because if they stand behind these types of slum lord hotels then they don't have the customer's best interest. If It was not mandatory fr me to rate this hotel from 1-10. I would not even select 1. It was that bad I did not like a thing. Stay Away Roach motel - Jan 3, 07 Posted By cheektoes, 1 reviews, a 29 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure All I can say is that there are roaches everywhere. They're in the fridge, the microwave, and the shower has yellow mold all over the shower. It's horrid.

The setting was very nice. Service at the front desk was very helpful. Walking distance to disneyland and close to nearby shops and restaurants. Convenient and a good stay!

It`s ok
By ,
I stayed for two nights at the Alamo, and It was ok just because it`s right acriss Disney. They should take care more on the parking lot and at the pool. If they put more room amenities could be a great hotel.
