Beachwalk Motel, Myrtle Beach

we didn't even look at the room. someone please bull-doze this place down! Everything you read in these reviews so true. We decided to trust hotels.com and booked over the phone, what a mistake that was. We spent 5 hours on the phone with hotels.com to straighten this out and what a nighmare that was. The phone no. for the hotel was disconnected and hotels.com kept telling us they will call them to cancel. They ended up charging us $60 to cancel(the hotel).

Dirty,smelly,old,filthy,unfriendly staff, pictures on web not true representation of this dump. Left after seeing room and stayed in another motel and staff wouldn't refund money. Piece of crap motel.

I checked in and checked out the same night! The rooms here are disgusting the smell when you walk in the plaster is falling off the walls the sink in the bathroom is hanging off the wall, the floors are nasty, i could go on for days about everything that is wrong with this place. I really don't understand why this place is still open. If you want a nice place to stay DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

What a disappointment! This place needs to be condemned! No toilet paper, no lamp shades, no telephone, oven filty, carpet stained with God knows what, no towel racks, nasty microwave, busted doors to the balcony where there was no light, no light in the hallway, garbage and old mattresses lying in the parking lot, no fresh linen, cracked ceiling and bath fixtures; we didn't dare turn on the air conditioning because it surely would infected us with Legionnaires disease; pool water green, no ice machine, washing machine on the sidewalk for guest use; this is the nastiest place I have ever seen in my life and I would not recommend this to roaches...which played tag on the walls. Not fit for human habitation and should be removed from the referral and recommendations as a decent, safe, and sanitary place to stay because it is not!

under new management, could see work being done..they sure do have have a lot of work to go but staff was very friendly..give them time and they will be up the with the big guys..just hope they keep thier prices low for us little guys..keep up the good work beachwalk..hopefully we will get a chance to come back

we arrives was late after driving 16 hours,when we checked in it was so disgusting holes in the plaster,bathroom full of filth and scum,trash piled deep a old broken commode sat at steps where going to your room.hotel staff not very helpful always hadto beg for towels and toilet paper ,room never cleaned whole time there.could only lock one lock on door our you locked yourself out of room,which they failed to tell you.no phone in room said would get us one never did.was thankful though all off the other ones i talked to had found coach roaches in thier rooms fridge etc, thought we were ok until 2 nights before we were to check out we had found stuart little and his family we decided we had enough,we checked out.totally disgusting place for what they charge reccomend it to noone.should take some of money they charge and clean place up might be worth it if they invest a little money into cleaning it backup and geting better help in there,the manager was out sick she was only person in there that seemed to have a lick of sense.

The only thing I liked about this place was that our room was right by the pool and oceanfront which was fun. But the hotel was not clean at all talk about deception you'll get it the whole room smelled like ciggarettes and pot and the sheet and blankets same way and they gave us towels but they were gray looking and stained and they offer no room service. Everytime I walked on the floor my feet go black and the refrigerator that came with room didn't work and reaked of beer and plus there are alot of dead beat drunks who call this place home we tried to use the washer and this lady came out and said you can us that us residents paid for that. All I can say if try it if you want to but I should have known better when they told me the room was only 250 for four night but the guy on phone made it sould so good.
