Do NOT let the outside FOOL YOU!!
I arrived to the hotel on May 24, 2007 - May 28, 2007 for the annual Bike Week festival. When i arrived the outside of the property was gorgeous! Great curb appeal! As soon as I walked into the hotel it was a total different story!! They only had one elevator working the whole time I was there. There were so many people just standing around in this little area waiting to get in this one working elevator. There was one light in the elevator area which did not work. The elevators were located near the parking garages. Being a female, it was a little scary. So when i finally arrived to my room there was a slice of carpet infront of my door which would not stay down at all. The bathrooms were horrible. There were holes in the walls, urine on the toilets, no toilet paper, dirty dishes in the sink, the towel bar only had one screw in it so it would not stay in the wall properly. I did however like how they had a desinated area for us to park our cars and our bikes. They had overnight security monitoring the bikes. We called down to the front desk to let them know that the housekeeper did not put any towels in our room. She stated that they were not fully staffed and we needed to walk across the street to their neighboring hotel to retreive towels. I do not normally complain like this. I work at a Hilton Hotel as a Sales Manager.I would be ashamed to have my hotel in the horrible working condition. I was just so disturbed that i paid almost $300.00 a night for basically nothing. You dont always get what you pay for!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
