Linder Motor Lodge, Homer

In your website this hotel/motel was rated average and included two negative reviews; now they are under new management and owners which they have included a Nicky's Mexican Restaurant. Very clean operation, friendly accomodating service with access to good food at Nicky's. Please reconsider upgrading your rating of this lodge.

This is the only motel in Homer, LA. We spent 8 nights there while family member was hospitalized. It is located at a busy, noisy intersection. The rooms are very outdated (circa 1960's), nothing matches in the room. The TWO towels left daily were very thin and the soap and shampoo was cheap and harsh. Although our room was one of the few w/ refrig. and microwave, there was no coffee maker. The a/c units are noisy and either hot or cold. The shower curtain reeked of mildew and the entire non-smoking room reeked of perfumed room spray to cover up cigarette smoke. The only upside was the front desk was polite and accommodating and they did allow us to bring our small dog.

I've been to Homer several times but this was my first time staying there. My family always stays there. At first my room was not ready but I was quickly accomodated with another one. The customer service was good. The room was clean and I'll stay there again. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.
