DON'T GET TAKEN by phony pictures and policy.

Checked out this motel on their website and was impressed by the pictures of the rooms and the price, so I made a reservation. Needless to say, I never saw a room that looked like anything on their website when we got to the motel. The room was small, old, dirty looking, and had a very musky oder even with the windows up. The bathroom was tiny, outdated, and I saw hair all over the towels. I went directly back to the office and told them the room was nothing like the photos or descriptions on their website and the room was dirty and we didn't want to stay there. We were told the room had already been serviced and that we were paying for the room if we left or stayed. Their policy; must cancel before 72 hours or 7 days depending on when your stay is for no charge, if you cancel between 72 hours and the day before your stay the charge is either one night's lodging or $25 per room and the option is up to the motel, if you cancel on the day of your stay or after you look at the rooms they will charge you for your entire booking.
We did not stay because the place was nasty. I called my credit card company when I got in the car and asked them not to accept charges from this motel. I don't know how this will turn out, but don't be fooled by this motel like me. DON'T MAKE RESERVATIONS OR STAY AT THE WHITE COLUMNS MOTEL.
