Clean, relatively quiet, safe, a great bargain

Don't let the modest exterior bother you. If you are looking for a place to spend a one night or two months and you are not concerned about impressing anyone, the Tour Rest Motel may be your kind of place. Great location at the intersection of Hwy 70 and 191 in downtown Safford, Arizona (small town USA), you get a clean room and covered parking for a fraction of the going price in the area. Safford is in the process of growing so accomadations are hard to find and expensive. The high-end hotels/motels in town will charge a minimum of $85 including tax ... the Tour Rest Motel will charge approximately $35 per night including tax. Don't look for a free breakfast or room service. The Tour Rest is basic and simple. You come, you sleep, you shower, you leave ... or you can stay for a week, a month or more without breaking the bank. Great place for out-of-town contractors, the touring motorcyclist or a small family trying to travel on a budget. Rooms include small refridgerator, microwave, cable TV and a telephone. Reminds me of traveling through Europe in the late 1970's.
