Oak Motel, Cisco

If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to stay on the road between Dallas and Abilene, there is not a better setting than the Oak Motel. I had the pleasure of spending three weeks of hard work in Cisco, TX and the comfort of the Oak Motel is what kept me going. At first glance, the Oak Motel doesn't look too inviting, but give them a chance and the hospitality you will find is like a long awaited homecoming. The staff will go out of their way to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your room. The beds are clean and comfortable, FULL size refridgerators (truly shocking), microwave and a desk. Well insulated rooms mean peace and quiet. I can't say enough about the staff. They took great care of the twelve workers and I that stayed at the Oak Motel. The motel is located just off of I-20 with easy access to main street. A BBQ grill in the court yard is available to cook on or about a half-mile down the road is a wonderful BBQ restaurant. Possibly the best home-away-from-home for the money.
