Worst hotel ive ever stayed in by far!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/11
This place was so bad and we were so uncomfortable! There was no bottom sheet on either of our beds, accompanied by baseball sized wholes in the other covers as well as several cigarette burns, the mattresses were so loud and uncomfortable no one slept, there was only enough hot water for half of a shower, and our tv didn't work. So unless your deaf, dumb, and blind I wouldn't recommend this to my dog (which they don't allow) much less anyone else.

Nice Find!!
By Bob K, 7/8/10
There really wasn't much we didn't like about this place. The room was clean, large, and well maintained. Each room has two queen beds and they were quite comfortable, with the exception of the normal "motel pillows". Check-in was very easy & quick. I am a government employee and they gave a gov't rate. The only thing we weren't satisfied with was the lack of curtains on the window. There were vertical blinds, and it lets in too much light from the porch light being left on all night. We got there late the first night, so it was very handy to go the restaurant right next door. The food was good, price was very reasonable, and the service was great. In sum , it was a very enjoyable stay. I feel sure we'll be back in the future.

What a great value, so Clean & nice
I came in town for an interview and could not justify the hotel prices and poor ratings on every hotels from Stephenville to Granbury. I called this hotel, talked to the owner, told him when I was coming and he made my stay just awesome. The rooms were clean and comfy. I basically found a deal....

Great Stay, AGAIN!
By Lori, 11/20/06
This is my 2nd stay with Shamrock Inn and it was just as great as the first! They showed me the same courtesy and friendliness as my first stay. They also remembered me by name. The rates were still the same. I will be staying here for all my future visits. Keep up the good work, guys!

We'll never recommend it!
By TOBY, 5/7/06
We had called in advance because we were travelling with a small dog. The inn was pet friendly so even though we didn't make a reservation we left a name and ETA. We got there to find an empty check-in lobby and a sign giving a return time more than an hour away. We went to the Dr. Pepper museum and bought tour tickets, took a short stroll along the streets, then returned to the inn to wait for the lobby to open. The woman finally arrived some twenty minutes later than promised with an infant and kids in tow, and an attitude. She never apologized for being late and seemed put out that she had to check us in so we told her she could forget our business and we left. We had already missed our tour so we went to find other lodgings. We stayed at Central Inn instead and had a great stay, even though on the phone they originally said they would not accept the dog.

Home away from Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/3/05
I stayed for a weekend recently. The rates were great. $35 Single & 40 Double. The new owners had just taken over. It was a very pleasant experience. Rooms were exceptionall clean. The rooms are larger than some that I have stayed at. The staff is very courtious and friendly. They are willing to make your stay the best experience possible. The adjoining parking lot has a nice restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.
