Used to be great but no more!
By KG, 12/31/08
Place is still pretty and people are great but new management with 'money first' has really changed this park. Had reservations at one price and when I got there they wanted more. Luckily, I had my confirmation. Less than 30 days and its $3 a day 'to use facilities'. I thought that was what I was paying for! Want you family to come out and go for a swim or play a game of tennis? It's $5 per guest per visit! The new chef may be famous but food is grossly inconsistent and takes forever. Four at the table - one's food was cold, one asked for two items on menu and they were out of them, and one who ordered a sandwich and fries, got six fries, and one had to send food back twice. Plus prices are much higher than last year. With most restaurants offering better values, don't plan on getting that here. This used to be a first class park at a reasonable price but those days seem to be long gone. This used to be a great place for a Tucson visit or a season but not a place I'd recommend or return to any time soon.

Best of the best!
By Joan Livings, 10/11/08
Wonerful hotel accomodations if you do not have an RV. Great restaraunt, good prices food excellent. This is one of the cleanest places you would ever want to stay and so much to do there as well as in surrounding area. Will definitely stay again and I recommend this place to all travelers.
