Ranch House Motel, Marksville

it very nice clean and safe. i read all review and i was thinking not to go there and i see that property from outside and it look nice so i asked them to see room and i checked that room was nice they paint nice color and the room was very clean and they were talking very polite also they have good rate in town also i asked for extra things they brought me right away and they do room service until 2 p.m i like that place when i go next time i will stay there and people who work there, they are very friendly and i will say when u go there u should check u will like it and it's by city limit it very safe and not too noisy

it's safe nice clean and low rate in town i read all review and i was not thinking to go there but when i see property from outside they put nice paint and i rent room there room was nice better then i stayed before. they have room also paint and nice think is they dont allow pets in room. about service i ask for extra towel they came to room and give us. and they also said if u need anything let us know before 2 p.m because laundry room will be close after that.lady and guy were so polite and it's by city limit so it's very quite not to noisy. i will tell other people go there and see it's very nice and u will like it

This was the only motel available that had wireless internet so that's why we stayed there. The bad: The inside of our room - dirty carpet, found 2 roaches, thin sheets and towels with only a dirty bedspread to cover, and not even a towel rack or hook in the bathroom to hang anything. Good - microwave and fridge, TV and internet service were good, and the outside of the motel looks like it had been newly painted. If you don't mind the bad, then this may work for you. The couple who owns it were quiet, but friendly, obviously working hard to make a living and run their motel. I would stay there again if the room had been cleaner.

This motel looked like it was built in 1950 and hasen't been remodeled or cleaned since that time......No such thing as room service......This was a nasty hotel and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone......This was my first stay and my last stay here, EVER!!!!!!

The hotel was fairly decent, at least the room we were in. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. BUT! The people who run the hotel were rude, never came to service the rooms or ask if we needed anything. When my daughter went to ask for a sheet, the lady at the front desk was very very rude to her about what she needed the sheet for. I will never stay there again.

For 65 dollars you get a dirty room that needs paint as well as new carpet and bedspreads. Various drawers were missing out of the vanity. Its close to the casino but thats about it. I am quite sure that most people will find the place disgusting. A ery feeling of uneasiness approaches you as you shut the door wondering how many bugs might crawl on you in the middle of the night. Best to stay down the road in Alexendria or one of the neighboring motels in Marksville if they have space.
