Best value for visiting Eglin AF Base

The Hilton Motel is the perfect lodging place for visiting someone stationed at Eglin Air Force Base. The owners are extremely friendly, the rooms are clean with plenty of space, the beds comfortable, nights are quiet, internet is available, and HBO and Fox News are included in the cable service. It's not a modern Motel and some people would say outdated but for the price it is a fantastic value. The drive to the base is 20 minutes but it's away from all the beach traffic and a straight shot with hardly any traffic lights. If we ever return to Florida's Emerald Coast, we would stay here again (even if we weren't visiting someone at Eglin).
