Oak Haven Cottages, Fairhope

We came from all over for Graduation celebration. The Cottage you see on the web site is NOT the one that we got! Ours was dark, smelly and garage-sale furniture! The price was probably the same as the nice Cottage. Some of our people were very upset but we did not have time to change places. (They also do NOT accept credit cards.)

my husband and I and our fourteen yr old dog just got back from Newport and had the best time. The place was older but very clean and the owners Mariam & Ralph couldn,t have been any nicer. Great location. Spent one day in Gulf Shores next day in Biolxi.Great food at Danny,s. Not crazy about Gambino,s. terrible service, cold food. Loved how everyone just walked. My husband and I have been coming here for several years along with my brother and his wife and my two nephews. We love it. Get to have our own cottage, yet go do things together. We enjoy the comfortable clean cabins plus a long visit because of the exceptional value. Walking distance to a great fishing pier! Steve and Jana Shickles

The Oak Haven Cottages are owned and operated by a FANTASTIC couple that made our trip a memory to last a lifetime! We drive a semi truck and are out for weeks at a time. Our anniverasry was the weekend of April 4-6, and was looking for a romantic place to go. Most places don't have access for us, but Meriam and Ralph, went out of their way to help us, and showed us such hospitality. We LOVED the days we spent there, and hated to leave. The facilities are very comfortable, and I will always be grateful to our new-found friends. I highly recommend the Oak Haven Cottages to anyone that wants a personal touch, and a friendly down home atmosphere! I will definately return...

We loved the Oakhaven Cottages!! They are clean, comfortable, and very centrally located to everything, plus they are right around the corner from my daughter!! We would definetly recommend this to everyone.

This place is the worst place I ever stayed.The rooms were moldy and smelled of cigarettes.The workers that stayed there made my family very uncomfortable.The location is great. Hope the will update in the future.

We used to go their all the time when we were kids, and my parents are still going their been going for years. The Staff is nice and helpful, cannot wait to go back!

They made our stay very pleasant. Cabin very clean and price was great. The location was great. They were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

These cabins are located right by the bay and our dogs loved being able to walk the beach. No,this is not "The Hilton" but we saved money because they have a full kitchen and we ate all our breakfasts and lunches there and went out for supper. We love our dogs and we are going back this month (May) can't wait Oh, our last visit was in November and there were even oranges on the trees then, it is so beautiful there. And if you love your pets, these are the cabins for you.

We recently stayed here and although the service was good and friendly and the location was excellent, the cottage we stayed in was not very clean. Our feet and socks were black after walking on the hardwood floors and the bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor when we arrived. You could also smell cigarette smoke through out the cottage. The grass around the cottage needed cutting badly, I was always in fear of stepping on a snake.
