Ebro Motel, Ebro

Me and my son was here to stay hear for a funeral. And we was sure that we was sure that we would have maid service when we return from the funeral. Well we didn,t. We had one of the rudies motel mangers. Her name was Miss Mary. She got mad with me because I ask for towels. and said her so call maids said the reason why we didn,t have maid service we wouldn,t let them in the room. and we wasn,t even there we was at a funeral. the room smelled carpet was dirty. and she call the police and had us put.

This motel was very clean and comfortable. The management was very hospitable and accomodating for anything we needed. We will definitley stay again when we are in the area.

new manager, clean rooms, good location to the beach, good home cooking,and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. I left there with some new friends! I'm excited about going back next summer, I really enjoyed my-self, it was almost like being home! I'll give the staff there atleast a five star report Heck, give them a ten!!!

I liked the location, and price, however was very disappointed in our Non-Smoking Room #115 as it had an odor as soon as you walk in the room. What was worse was the fact that once folks started smoking in the other rooms and outside, all that smoked came into our room. Yuck! *Note: This place is NOT for non-smokers.

Ebro Motel has a new manager.We really liked her. The room was very clean. The housekeeper was very helpful in suggesting somewhere to eat. We will be back in April and will stay at Ebro Motel.

The only good thing we found about this place was that the drinks in the Pepsi Machine located at the pool deck are very cold; but not quite as cold as the lady at the front desk. I overheard people calling her "Ms. Mary." She is, without a doubt, the rudest person I have ever met... EVER!! There were no towels in our room when we checked in and when I went to the front desk to ask for some she all but told me that I stole them. Now I have only been checked in for about 8 minutes at this time. She had someone bring the towels to me about an hour later along with a message, "Ms. Mary said that if you require anything else for your room that she prefer that you just come to the front desk and check out and if you just leave she will bill your credit card an additional $10.00 for the key." WOW DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The Ebro Motel is very remote.But its quite,with clean rooms and a small,clean pool.This is a top pick for value,if you happen to be in this area of the florida panhandle.

Having read the previous review, here, we weren't sure what to expect. Arriving at the motel, however, we found the rooms to be very clean, not at all like the description given by the previous reviewer. We think the discrepancy is due to the fact that we saw renovation and remodeling of the motel in progress, our room having probably had a make-over since the time of the previous reviewer's stay. This motel is the only one for miles, and is situated in a remote area of the Florida panhandle near the Choctawhatchee river. It is not affiliated with any chain. There is a greyhound racing track adjacent to the motel but we couldn't hear any loud noise unless we walked outside our room. There is a gas station next door and a small cafe across the street and another about six miles west in the town of Bruce. Both cafes served excellent and very sizable meals for under $6.
