Vanguard Motel, Navasota

I am doing business in Navasota and decided to take a chance on the Vanguard Motel. It isn't the lavish but the rooms were clean, the A/C worked fine and the price was better than others in the area (55.00 / night). The room had a coffee maker, small fridge and a microwave. It was a little noisy being so close to the road and the train tracks but all in all an economial choice in these times. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for our trip to the OSU/TAMU game. After a hot and humid day at the game, we arrived to a nice COLD and clean room! The rooms were nice and roomy. Microwave and small fridge were perfect since we had a small baby with us. This is not the Holiday Inn, but a small family owned business that made us feel welcome and were only 65.00 a night! Between the game and a festival these business owners did not inflate prices! Whoop! I just love business owners that appreciate your business and NOT the dollar sign at the end of the day! You will be surprised!
