What a dive! Do not let the condition of the office deceive you,the rooms are bad.For a few dollars more you can go to Lumberton and get a nice room at a nice Hotel. The 96 motel has uncomfortale beds with old mattresses,our sink was stopped up,the AC drain sound as if it were draining into the corner of the room,management was rude and please don't ask for a refund if you mis judge the days you will be there.You will be handed two cards one says Motel 96 and the other says Hardin County Sheriffs office! Will not go back.The name should be changed to the 69 motel because you will be screwed!

great down home environment and safe feeling. The location was great. The room was cozy and had what I needed. This is not a new modern inn but it was clean and reasonablly priced.
