The best of southern hospitality

This inn is housed in a beautifully restored old home with lush plantings and giant oaks covered in moss. Reg, the innkeeper, greeted us at the front door and was incredibly gracious. He gave us a tour, then tips on how to best enjoy the local crab festival. Our room was delightful, very well decorated, large, and comfortable. Little extras like regional reading materials, homemade brownies, and use of the beautiful patio were appreciated. Breakfast was a treat - great food prepared by Margie was creative and ample. The innkeepers are the role models for the industry - it is definitely like being entertained in the home of old friends.
