Osprey On the Gulf, Panama City Beach

WE love this motel. We stayed in Sept. 2008 and just went back in Sept. 2009 this time we took my parents and they also had a great time. Great view from the room to the ocean, great kitchen, great beds, and very important we never heard any noise from other rooms

we had to look at three or four rooms before picking out one that was half way decent. It was run down and was in bad need of renovation... We probably wont go back and wont recommend it to anyone. the reviews were really decieving.

My wife and I just spent another two weeks at the Osprey Motel in Panama City Beach. (September 27 through October 10, 2008) We have been staying here since 1987 during spring break with our children. This is a family owned motel. The owners are available, the staff is friendly and the housekeeping folks are great. If you are looking for a FAMILY place or a couple’s place to stay in Panama City Beach, I recommend the Osprey or the Driftwood. They are side by side in a perfect location a short walking distance from the new Pier Park. The rooms are clean and they are constantly doing up-grades to the property.

great place for the kids to go for spring break. rooms could be cleaner but what do you expect from a motel... this isn't the hilton. i have been the the past 10 years with my kids. they continue to want to go back because it is a great beach. i have no plans of staying anywhere else when we are on spring break.

We return to the Osprey year after year, and each time we are just as excited as the first. There's something for everyone in our family to do, and we really enjoy the games we play with the other visitors on the beach. And the kids love Watermelon Time! I believe what I like the most is the location. It's out of the congestion and close to the Grocery store and convenience store is right across the street. Looking forward to returning this year.

We had a good time staying at the Osprey Motel.The people that was working in the Osprey was very frindly people.The view of the beach was great.It was very clean. The location was good we was wright there with ever think.Ever one loved it.

We had a very good time staying at the Osprey. The people at the front desk were very helpful when we checked in. We didn't have any other reasons to contact them so that is the only time we talked to them. The room wasn't very fancy, but it was clean and comfyortable. On Wednesday the hotel cooked seafood chowder for the guests, it was good and everyone was friendly. It was a nice place to take you family. I would recommend going. We will probably stay there again when we go back.

This one of the few places you can stay and not have wild teenagers keeping you awake all hours of the night. It's clean, affordably priced, friendly staff, good location and you don't have to put up with obnoxious kids. Some people go to the beach for the beauty of the sand and surf and to enjoy the peace and quiet. This is an ideal place. I have stayed there many times as well as the Driftwood Lodge, which is owned and operated by the same people. Never been disappointed! If you have teenage kids take them somewhere else, this is not an amusement park. It's a nice motel. I would have stayed there last year but they were booked. Sharon Brazell Montgomery, AL

we love when we visit panama city beach and stay at the osprey motel .the staff is great very friendly people . we never have to ask for anything and our rooms are very clean and we just love the view ..the main reason we started going to panama city beach was for the horse show they have every april .and we have told so many ppl where to stay when we do tell them about the horse show ... thank you for taking so much pride in your motel... we give u 5 stars . cant wait till we see u in april gary & christy bohanan

We have been staying at The Osprey for 15 years and will go back next year. The romms are clean and the staff is so accommodating. The rates are good and the location is great. I just hope they don't sell out to one of the hugh conglomerates like so many of the other family owned motels have.
