The Driftwood Lodge, Panama City Beach

clean!! fun and a good value for the money we have been going to the Driftwood for over 15 years now, and it is the only place to stay for us,, we see a lot of the same people from all over the us that come back on the same week year after year,how many places do you know that that happens?? and this is not a timeshare..no way.. we will be going back every year

My sisters and I have been going here for about 5 years now and are headed back this weekend, we love it and would not consider any where else to stay. Great place for kids, lots of games and prize ribbons for them, watermelon everyday at 1, outdoor movies once a week! What more can you ask for.

love it! thats the best i can say. This is not a fancy schmacy resort if you are looking for one. This is family fun, casual, relaxed atmosphere at it's best. Staff is great!

I love this place. My husband, Jim and me, Angie, have been coming here for 20 years. Suzanne and Tracy are like family. We love them. My husband passed away 12 years ago today. He loved the Driftwood. I see him everywhere when I go back tothe Driftwood. I have some wonderful memories and I will make more wonderful memories in the future. My son, Jonathan, is 26 now, but he still talks about the games and watermellon time. He still has his ribbons that he won. MY HUSBAND JAY AND I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE DRIFTWOOD FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS THE PLACE IS GREAT AND THE SERVICE IS JUST AS GOOD WE HAVE MADE SOME GOOD FRIENDS OVER THE THE YEARS AND WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE REGULARS THAT ARE AT THE DRIFTWOOD WHEN WE GO EVERY YEAR WE GET TO STAY 3 WEEKS THIS YEAR THE SAND AND BLUE OCEAN ARE JUST GREAT AND EVERY EVENING WHEN WE SALUTE THE SUNSET AND LIGHT THE POTATOE CANON ITS JUST GREAT ( POTATOE CANON WE BRING FROM ILLINOIS AND EVERY ONE LOVES TO SEE IT FIRED INTO THE OCEAN AT SUNSET) WE CANT WAIT TO GET TO THE DRIFTWOOD KIM AND JAY

Me my wife and infant son spent the week of September the 3rd through the 8th. The driftwood is wonderful and super clean, Don't let bad reviews give you a bad idea of this motel because it was super clean and very updated. We had a double room on the ground floor at the end Room #134 and for $60.00 a night we got a mini kitchen , Grill and Private patio, The sun deck was great for viewing the gulf and relaxing , The beaches was clean and nice, Shuckams and Cylmpso was across the street and we parked in front of our room for the entire week. You also have the Ospery next door which they own and you can use all of there services also. Do not let the pictureds of the fancy hotels give you an idea of paradise because when you see them in person it is a let down. The driftwood is as pictured and isa perfect Clean ,Relaxing Motel on the Beach. A+++

We stayed at the Driftwood Lodge on our honeymoon Sept 2004 and have been back about 10 times for 7-14 days. We love the friendly staff, easy access to the ocean, planned activities such as cook outs, coffee prepared for you, it is all good. 1 dislike, the parking is not the greatest in the summer but everything else makes it worthwhile. We love the location, close to dog track, Mike's Diner, and short distance to downtown P.C. and the mall. See you in about 2 weeks. We come there for my birthday July 10th, that is my husband's gift to me each year and it is always the right size and color.

We came across this motel during a seasonal tropical storm. Every other motel on the strip had no electric and would not let us check-in or get out of the storm. Driftwood welcomed us and dealt with the check-in once the electric was on. This was the most friendly, family oriented motel we have ever stayed in...we go back year after year to the Driftwood or Ospry Evansville, IN

Well my family has been going there for two years.ever scince the impala closed so beeny told us to come to the driftwood because that was his cusion..

You just can't find anywhere that compares to the family atmosphere provided at the Driftwood. My family has been going there for 29 years and have not had a bad experience in all 29 years. Watermelon time provides an opportunity for fun family participation in games and water fun. AWESOME!
