Can't Wait To Go Back To Keaton!!!

I love to go to Keaton Beach!!!! It is a clean, family oriented beach with a new playground right there near the water. I love the walk on the pier & the gorgeous sunsets. The cottages are clean & the staff was very courteous.

Missing My "second home".

The only thing I disliked was not enough time to spend there. Everything else was great. Most friendly and helpful people I've ever met. When I first went there in 1990, it was really different, (before the storm), Many newer homes now and much more appealing to visitors. Still kept the small town flavor though. I have to be honest, I kept a camper there for 14 years in the Marina campground, the nice folks I sold it to in 2005 are still there, I guess we all make mistakes. I now have a new camper and I may get my name in the hat for another camping spot. Always felt I had many friends and extended family there. Hope to return soon. Marina under new management, GOOD LUCK JERRY.

A great Place to Scallop

We camped at the marina and it is only a little fish camp, but loads of people are waiting to get in. We usually go on July 4th holiday.. have been going for years and we love it, if you like to fish, scallop or party in the evenings you will have a great time. There are only a few camp sites available so we make our reservations early.. But this year I do beleive that the marina is up for sale, and we are not pleased, this little place in keaton beach was a very well kept secert and now everyone knows about it! I wish they wouldn't sell!!
