Dixie Belle Motel, Port St Joe

We needed a room for just 1 night, as we'd made reservations out on Cape San Blas to rent a house for a long weekend. Dixie Belle, although older, was perfect! It was clean (which is the most important thing to me) and was very convenient! Since we were there to fish, there was parking for our boat and everything was safe and secure! Don't let the older look fool you! Got a great night sleep in a fresh, clean bed! Thank you!

We stayed at the Dixie Belle for Spring break. Dan and Michele (owners) made us feel like family! Not only is this Florida's forgotten coast, here you can forget what decade your in! They are so nice and the place is very clean, it makes you feel like you are welcome. We are going back this year and cannot wait! Want to leave you worries in 2009 and step back to an easier time, stay here! We started out in just a "sleeping" room for a night and decided to stay another 3 in a little motel suite. Very charming place, very charming owners!

Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was nearby. Only drawback was immigrant laborers occupied several rooms and were loud and constantly loitering outside the rooms.
