Gulf View Motel, Port St Joe

The son who works there is extremely rude! After staying there several years, we won't be back. We had an emergency and had to check out a day early and he wouldn't refund our money or ever let us come back at a later date. We are locals and will spend our money elsewhere.

Not fancy, but all the comforts needed in the room. Clean room, clean sheets and hot showers. Stay in hotels 100+ nights per year and was skeptical of the lower price being a reflection of the room condition and location. It is centrally located in Mex Bch and right across street from beach (with access). Standard room had a A/C, refrig, microwave, all in good working order. Table and chairs with double bed and cable TV. Don't spend a lot of time in the room on vacation and all considered, I found it to be a great value. Will be staying here again in the future.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed several times within the last several years and it has not lost its charm. Sure its not fancy, but the price is amazing and its right across the street from the beach.
