Plantation Inn, Morgan City

the desk clerck was rude and arrangent,, offering to do laundry and taxi service for money she claims she is not paid enough, her kids are all over the counter when you try to check in, if i want to hear about god i go to church not the hotel, get a better job if oyu need money

didnt like the lady carmella. she was fat and smelled of fish and chips. my bags were opened when i left room and returned.my daughter felt itchyand bath was uncleaned as was the bedding. oh well looks arent everything. restaraunt wasnt bad but the cook after useing restroom never washed hands and dirty finger nails .

rooms are 78 a night plus tax, not a bad place but buy your food outside of hotel

1) check in was 2:00. Traveling since 7:00 am I wanted to check in. I got there at 1:45. Told I could not check in and it wouldn't be till 3:00.They have a right to do this. This was unexceptable. 2)Girl at counter was rude. Told me if I didn't like the situation I could go somewhere else..good luck. Picked up the phone and ignored me. 3)Checked in at 4:00. Took forever, they had one person checking people in. 2 couples took her 45 min. 4)When finally given my key, went to the room, it was already had people in it. 5)Back to the front to get a new room, went to the room. I booked a queen size bed and got 2 doubles. 6)was afraid to leave my room incase someone else ended up with my room. did not feel secure. 7)never a manager around to complain to. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. Go with a brand name hotel, at least something can get done about a situation.
