Not at all what I expected
The rates on the internet don't match the $100.00 per night that we were charged. The front desk was not so friendly - to the point of being rude if you asked for an extra towel. The pool was supposed to close at 10:00 - but having a poolside room was a big dissapointment since we had individuals out there swimming till 2:30 in the morning keeping us awake - as they were very loud and rude. The breakfast was good if you were one of the early birds to get something, if they ran out you were out of luck. This is not a place that I would stay at again - the only perk was the sauna - the heated pool in my opion was not even heated, was way over priced for $100.00 a night.

What a Dump
By David L, 10/01/07
We had to cross a sea of giant crickets just to get in the door. There was some kind of gunk on the door handle to the room. The carpet and the curtains were stained. The blanket was actually rubber. If we hadn't arrived at 1 AM we never would have stayed. We checked out immediately the next morning. We were very disappointed in the Yahoo ratings. We figure the owners must have written them.

The Best!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
We just made 9,500 mile drive around the USA over a 60 day period. Staying in 29 comparable priced hotels and motels, we feel our four nights while at the Atrium Inn, Schwartz, were the best! We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi and pool after doing excursions in San Antonio. The lovely ambiance made us feel we were in the tropics. The breakfast room is pleasant and offers a good menu variety, including fresh pancakes. One can eat by the pool or in the breakfast room. The receptionists were helpful and amenities were all we would hope for. Shopping and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity..

It was a great Spring Break
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/07
We stayed at the local Atrium Inn in Schertz Texas as the rest of San Antonio was sold out. The hotel was a great find and we will definately be back. It was dreary weather most of spring break but they have this wonderful indoor heated pool and hot tub in a tropical setting. What was cool about the pool according to my son is "The ceiling opens up and lets the sun in when it was not raining." Our room came with a micro-fridge at no additional charge and the cable was expanded, more than 60 channels and HBO was included also. The breakfast was great though the hours are a bit early. You get to make your own waffles. My kids loved that. The rooms were nice and clean but they are simply standard rooms. We would love to go back and get a room with a pool view as your sliding glass patio door opens right into the pool area. Great way to watch the kids from inside. Also the staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions and places to eat. We will be back.

An Unexpected Pleasure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/05
This privately runned hotel,is quite special, they've made a bold move and went completely non-smoking, thumbs up, they justed completed a 4 million dollar renovation and are gonna do big in my opinion. if your in the area, stop by say hi to CJ the office manager he will take care of you.
