Cajun Holiday Motel, Grand Isle

This place is great! 2 blocks from bridge side marina, which made it very convenient to and from the hotel from a long day of boating/fishing. Motel was very clean. Towels were replenished every day as long as used towels were put outside before noon. There was a nice courtyard area with picnic tables and a decent sized area to clean fish. Short walk across the street to the beach. Very nice and professional staff. The rooms sleep 8, so it is perfect stay for a family vacation, definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend this place and will be back again!

Every thing was great. There was an area to clean fish lighted dock for fishing at night two new camps on bay side we were in one of them. We stayed in the main building and enjoyed that also. BBQ area and a place to wash your cloths. Every thing was spotless.

You are across the beach with no beach access. It is private property across the street with sign all over about trespassing. Which could cause you to be arrested in Louisiana. You have to drive to beach access down the highway. The check- in is in a portable trailer. There is no swimming pool. They filled it in with sand. The rooms are decorated from the salvation army. It is still under construction. It is a horrible experience. Don't waste your time or money on this place. It is truly a joke !!!!!!!!!!

The motel is located across the street from the beach making it easily accessable. The motel has a large balcony(the first building you come across is the one I stayed in). It is very relaxing to sit on the balcony near the palm trees. Also, it is located within short walking distance of the Sea Side Marina, which certainly came in handy. Inside the motel we rented were comfortable couches, and bunkbeds. However, the particular room we stayed in did NOT have a microwave!
