Miramar Beach Resort, St Pete Beach

Very reasonable, clean, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Booked a room for a one night stay to be at a friend's wedding. The office staff was not very friendly and didn't know what she was doing. She over booked our room with someone in the wedding party. So about an hour was spent trying to figure out who really gets the room (since my credit card had already been charged) then an hour driving up and down Gulf Blvd (on a Sat. night during Spring Break) trying to find another place to stay. Needless to say we pretty much missed the whole major part of the wedding. We did get back in time to eat a piece of the cake that had already been cut. I WILL NEVER refer this place to ANYONE or ever book a room with them AGAIN!!! I did have a family member stay in a room and NO the money you pay is NOT worth the room you get. AWFUL!!!!

Where did the good reviews come from? The Miramar (Resort?) is greatlly overpriced, over-rated and out-dated. We found a blood splash on the bathroom door, dead flys on the windowsills next to a bed, hard beds and badly stained tub. The office clerk was unfriendly. If you can't predict if you will get ill or anyother unforseen problems DON'T book. You lose your money if cancellation is with-in 30 days. On the plus side is the Gazebo area and the beautiful Gulf beach. But you can get this at another more modern hotel (resort) for either same or less money.

Too many things to list that we liked and zero as to dislikes. Great place to meet old and new friends...like coming home when one arrives. Many thanks to staff and Wanda and Kirk for making every effort to assure guests are comfortable!

Most accomodating staff of any resort I have ever stayed in. Wanda is a wonderful asset to this hotel. We have been going there for eight years and are already booked for 2010. Would never consider staying anywhere else on St. Pete's. Clean, Friendly and very customer friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Excellent location. couldn't ask for more.

Wanda was such a pleasure to deal with! The resort was clean and the beach was awesome! The two pools were also super clean. Our room was super clean with a king size bed and a kitchen. What more could we ask for! The view was amazing from our room. For the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised! Everyone who was staying there was friendly. We will be back! My family and I from Missouri have been staying at this quaint but outstanding vacation motel for 14 years. It isn't fancy, but it's clean and perfect for a truly relaxing, quiet time on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Two pools, a large but cozy courtyard, grills and it is directly on the beach. Absolutely perfect for families with children since the parents can relax by the pool and watch the kids play safely in the courtyard, the pool and even on the beach without ever moving. Sandbar Bill's tiki beach bar and grill is 50 yards away; the Suncoast trolly picks you up literally at the door and takes you almost anywhere, including the mall, for a few dollars. Walking distance from many restuarants, ATM across the street, parasailing and beach rentals a few feet away. We call this "our Kokomo" and it is the most delightful place we know. We hope this place never sells out to the "condo craze"! Try it, you'll love it!
