Not worth the $$$$
By cakelvr, 09/05/08
As you look through the other review you learn, no one has left a comment in over 1 year. Let's look at the facts... *The Staff is snooty and pretentious *The Shower floods the whole bath room. We even heard other guests reference this. *The AC doesn't work. Even when staff came to fix it, the rooms warms up quickly after, IN addition, the women at the SPA confirmed that the AC doesn't work well anywhere in the hotel. * The cable TV is spotty, but when called to fix it, the staff tells us, the hotel usually has spotty service. * At breakfast, they ran out of coffee. * The in room fridge does not rise above 40 degrees. Over all for over $500/ per night, this hotel is a complete waste of money. WE have had a terrible experience and it is unfortunate as this was our Honeymoon! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

HH has just about everything
By Don, 08/27/07
I have stayed here a half a dozen times and call myself a picky hotel guest. There is very little to diss about this place. My one complaint is the noise level in all the rooms I have stayed in-everything from jackhammers during the day to partyers in the courtyard at 2AM. This is a trade off for having a small property and lots of happy, often young, late night guests. I keep going back. Will take earplugs from now on!

great hotel, fair spa
By Kelly Hirano, 02/11/07
the hotel was quite nice. it reminded me of some of the scandinavian hotels i've been to with a clear focus on interior decorating and an excellent complimentary breakfast. the bathroom was thoroughly modern, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was exceptional. my complaint lies in the spa and fitness center. the fitness center was pretty pathetic. a room that was maybe 20 x 10 feet contained two exercise bikes (one was broken), a treadmill, a scale, and a set of dumbbells. my girlfriend and i got a couples massage, which was decent, but nothing great. the waiting area was in a hallway, which seemed kind of odd. it was nice that there was a jacuzzi, but nowhere to hang your robes. the pool was quite nice, though, heated more than most pools that i've been to, which made swimming in the rain pretty fun. free wired internet in the rooms and wireless in the lobby/lounge. the bar was also one of the more inexpensive nice hotel bars i've been to.

Wow, this place was nice!

Fantastic Spa, luxury bedrooms with beautiful decorations and amenities, it was expensive but it was a perfect romantic spot for basing a few wine tastings around sonoma.

Absolutely Fabulous
By slm, 05/23/05
Hotel Healdsburg exceeded my expectations in every way. It was fabulous! Luxurious and spacious rooms and amazing bathrooms w/ large soaking tubs. The service was excellent, the food was incredible, and the spa fabulous as well. Will definitely be back!

Great mix of hip and elegance
Recently stayed here for my birthday weekend and absolutely loved it. Great beds, room, lobby area that had a great jazz band in the evening.

Amazing rooms, great location, great restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/04
This hotel is situated in California's wine country -- near Sonoma and Napa, but in a burgeoning region called the Dry Creek Valley. Typically less crowded region than Napa, offering amazing scenery and great wines.
