We always return

The breakfast, this time was not as good for the first time in 4 years our room was overlooked. The front desk staff is wonderful!

Pleasant experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/07
My family from all over the US stayed here for several days due to 2 deaths of relatives, spring of '07. We were so comfortable in this spotlessly clean place, personnel were pleasant, and breakfasts were great. The funeral party (lots of cousins) returned to the hotel after the service and chatted in the attractive lobby and took pictures around the fireplace. Staff was most cordial. I have moved to WA state but still go back east 3-4 times a year to work as an RN at a large hospital near Woodbridge. I am considering staying at this hotel for a week or more at a time starting in February '08 if the rates are doable (compared with what I earn!) Thanks again for a pleasant experience during a difficult time. Joyce Brendel

OVERRATED FOR THE PRICE...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/07
Every room has it's own air codition unit in the bedroom, Not a quiet unit, it is very loud. We were there in the middle of August and the unit kicked on continually though the night waking us up every hour or so. Would not stay there again for this reason. Breakfast buffet was good, great location. Hotal was clean. Suite was ok.

What a "suite" experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/07
We stayed at Wytestone Suites overnite on our return trip home from a week's vacation in Virginia. We were very pleased to find the hotel to be a lovely, clean property. The reservation was in order, and the rooms were ready for us. The two-room suite had a kitchenette as well. The bedroom and living room furnishings were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We did have some difficulty getting our room keys to work, so I could not honestly give an excellent rating. However, I would like to send a very good rating. Overall, our stay at Wytestone allowed us to end our trip on a very happy note.

we thought the hotel was a Hilton
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/07
On a whole the hotel and services were a bit above the ordinary. The suite was spacious, clean and well appointed. We did not care for the location of our unit as it was close to a well travelled roadway. Breakfast was not the tastiest, but filling and abundant. All employees were personable, very tidy and helpful. I would reccommend this establishment to anyone because of the value & accomodations. Thanks for the lovely weekend!!!

Great stay!
By EARL, 05/28/07
This hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. We felt very safe because all rooms opened to the front desk. It was also very quiet. The hotel is well maintained inside and out. Breakfast buffet plentiful and tasty although not a lot of variety for those who have an extended stay. Free wireless internet was very helpful.

Would stay again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/06
This hotel has a very good location. The rooms were extremely comfortable and nice. They also have a very good hot breakfast buffet. It's a must stay if you are going to Potomac Mills, less than two blocks away.

Overpriced for the Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/06
While the location to shopping and food was excellent, and the morning staff very courteous and professional I am sad to say, that was the best part of my stay. The first room I was given had peeling wall paper in the bedroom, When I told the desk clerk she apologized profusely and changed my room with no problem; on a Wednesday night stay all of the soda vending machines were out of order or sold out and there even was a chicken bone left in the soda retrieval bay on the fourth floor. The pool is advertised as heated, and it might have been...but just above freezing, myself and another family tried to brave the water thinking that we just had to get used to it, but after a few minutes we could not take it any longer and we had to leave. The next morning when I went down to breakfast the main elevator did not work; when I informed the desk clerk all he said was "there is another elevator in the back." I did not expect him to whip out some tools and fix it himself, but I was looking for an apology and something along the lines of I will tell the General Manager or I will call someone right away.

Great value in DC area.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/06
Service was extremely courteous. Buffet breakfast was tasty and plentiful plus it was easy to bring it to enjoy in the privacy of our room. The suite set-up (LR, eating area in front, off lobby; bedroom in back) was very practical. There were only two of us, but it would be great for families. Nice size bathroom. The location gave easy access to restaurants, mall, etc., but with the multiple lanes and traffic lights, it was also easy to get lost. We were so pleased with our stay we wish they were nationwide!
