Kalani lies on the southeast coast of Hawaii Island, also called 'the Big Island'. It's a 45-minute drive from the airport in Hilo, or a 2.5-hour drive from the airport in Kona. Located near Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes, you can treat yourself to close-up views of turtles and dolphins and seasonal whale watching. The cliff also provides a haven for sunbathing, meditation or yoga. Kalani Honua means 'harmony of heaven and earth', and it is the feeling of tranquility that guests derive from this lovely resort.

This is one of the most wonderful places I have ever been NO TV NO PHONES no stress This is where you want to go if you are looking to get away from the default world. Loving caring people so helpfull the food was fit for a king so much food so many kinds of tropical fruit ,kona coffee all you can eat and drink . Yoga classes several times a day ,This is not a luxury resort no it is a place to find your inner self to enjoy peace and quiet to experience the real culture of Hawaii the real people of Hawaii it's like going back in time to experience the way thing were before computers and cell phones.

Beautiful low key laid back place to vacation & relax. Staff was so friendly and helpful we felt like family. Wonderful healthy food 3 times a day. Really was Heaven on Earth.
