Hull-O Farms, Durham

This is a wonderful place. Everyone is like family. Sherry cooks delicious meals. Sherry makes you feel like you are home. Frank is great and shares so much with us. We learned about his life, the history of the farm and day to day jobs. On your way back home you can get some fresh eggs. There is so much at the farm. It's definitely a must see! I am looking forward to going again this year.

We took two of our granddaughters, Kathryn and Kayla, for a couple nights and it was such a wonderful downhome experience. Sherry and Farmer Frank were just so wonderful, it was relaxing, the food was good and we felt like part of the family. We enjoyed the local area as well, went for a swim in the creek, shopped at a country store, fished, took a hayride, collected eggs & fed the animals. The little girls loved the kittens best of all and our little house just down the hill from the farmhouse. What a beautiful setting! We would definitely recommend this special place and friends of ours took our recommendation and loved it as well. We would like to go back when the girls little sisters get a little older...then we'll take four little girls...that is if their moms & dads don't take them first...they all loved the picture book we put together on Kodak for the girls for Christmas about their special farm vacation with Mimi and Papa.

I took my girl scout troop. They were able to milk a cow and a goat, feed the deer, pigs, and bunnies, and bottle feed the baby goats. The girls all had a wonderful time. I think the Hull's should put some coffee in the guest houses, as there are coffee makers. One morning, we did not eat breakfast until 10:00, and we were starving!!! Also, they really need to put sufficient locks on the guest house doors, and proper fire alarms. Other than that, we had a great time at the Farm, and would definitely go back!!
