Service
Hello, My name is Connie Vance.I normally do not complain, but tonight I recieved a very disturbing call from Wayne Vance about how he was treated by the manager and another employee yesterday
My husband has stayed in your establishment for over a year Mon. thru Thur. every week, About a year ago there was an issue with his debit card being charged daily when he wasn't there, so at that point he told them to take his information out of the system and he and his employee would pay cash, which he has done now for over a year.
Yesterday the Manager and the gentleman working the desk followed my husband to his truck and told him that he has stayed 5 nights last week and only paid for four. My husband let her know that he had paid.
The day in question was August 5, 2007. They told him he had not. They had no record of it. He explained that he had paid Loretta, and had told her that he knew she was busy, so she could give him the reciept later. Loretta thanked him at that point.
Fern stated that he was lying and had not paid and that he could take his business elsewhere. Instead of checking to see if accounts recieved was over, she told him to go somewhere else and stay.
Since then my husband has confirmed with Loretta that the account was over and that they accused him falsely.
They never said they were sorry for the mistake nor did they appologize
They have never even acknowledged him at all since this happen. I worked at the Greebrier Hotel for 20 years and know that things like this can really hurt your business if this is how the customer is treated. I feel that they owe him an appology and his employee Dennis Brown.
Wayne is a Christian would not steal from you and tries to do what is right. He actually called and appologized to Fern for raising his voice. I know that she upset him and I cannot blame him. He could not believe how he was treated and neither can I.
He would not like it if he knew I was doing this, but I will let you know that I will not stop here I intend on letting your corporate office know, because I do not feel that this is how a hotel should treat a long time customer.
My husband is on the road weekly and needs to feel at home in a nice comfortable establishment. He just wants a clean bed and clean room. He is not loud and rowdy as some construction workers are. As I said he is a christian.
I could call and Loretta, by the way a great gal, would give me Wayne's room as she knew who I talking aboutt . I have even called her to see if my husband has come in for the evening or is working late. It is sad that you have people that don't really value customer service .The customer is right, especially if you haven't even investgated the facts. My husband now has in hand for the night in question. So there you go. They owe him and Dennis an appology.
