Exceptional In Every Way

The owners of The Harbour Cottage have created a comfortable, elegant and sophisticated spot to stay while visiting Acadia National Park. The rooms, food service, and location cannot be beat. The beds are so comfortable and the 500 thread count sheets make you feel like you are staying in a 5 star hotel. In fact the place feels more like a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast but also offers the best of what a bed and breakfast can be. This is truly one of the most beautiful properties in Maine. We plan on making a stay at the Harbour Cottage Inn an annual event.

We Were So Very Well Cared For

We felt like guests at a friends home not merely customers. The place, lush in all appointments, provided for our every need from the comfy couch and chairs in the living room to the beautiful music, our jacuzzi tub, supportive bed and lucious breakfasts... and all the art-oh my all the art to feed the eye and the soul. But more than that it is the spirit and soul of the innkeepers and staff that soothed my own spirit. We will surely visit again when we need to refresh. This is a fantastic inn and an exceptional place to relax!

The Finest B&B Near Acadia

This beautifully furnished inn is set in a lovely spot overlooking the harbor in SW Harbor Maine. The rooms are furnished in an elegant, sophisticated yet comfortable manner and the food is outstanding. We have visited the inn with my family 5 times in 5 years and it has become a tradition. We are a family of 4 and always reserve the beautiful Southwester with private living room kitchen and 3 bedrooms. You will not be disappointed with this warm and friendly inn. We have traveled a great deal through Maine and New England and find this one to be the perfect home away from home while visiting Acadia National Park.
