Will not go back

The hotel is conveniently located around restaurants and major highways as well as close to Tampa airport. At check in, the staff was welcoming and changed our room to another one with partial lake and pool view. During our stay, the AC was not working properly. My husband went down to inform them and he was told that maintenance will take a look at it but to let them know if the AC was still not working and they will move us to another room. On the down side, breakfast was awful and very limited. My husband and I only "ate" breakfast one time. There was something that looked like eggs very unappetizing. Staff is rude and not polite at all. Our room did not have a microwave, which made it impossible for us to warm leftovers next day. The firs day, our room did not get cleaned.
Overall, we had a less than pleasant experience and will not go back. This is our first time at a Holiday Inn Express or any Holiday Inn. We definitely have had a much pleasant experience with Best Western Hotels.
