Welcome to Destin's newest Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites on Hutchinson St, across from the Midbay Bridge & the New Destin Commons shopping center. Our beautiful hotel was opened May 2002, it is located in Destin, FL known for its beautiful sandy white beaches. Now featuring our new Free Continental Smart Breakfast with the famous cinnamon rolls and smart roast coffee. We offer lodging accommodations for corporate, leisure and groups including a selection of king, two queen beds or wheelchair accessible rooms and/or suites to meet everyones needs. Each of our rooms and suites are equipped with coffeemakers, irons & ironing boards, hair dryers, and 27 televisions with cable, CNN, ESPN, and HBO. Our suites also contain microwaves and refrigerators with wet bar. Our hotel is FEMA approved and meets all local requirements. GREAT PLACE

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was nicer than all 3 star and most 4 star hotels where I've stayed. The hotel was clean, no moldy smells in the room, staff were wonderful, and the amenities really topped it off. Free wireless Internet, morning newspaper (in lobby), great beach location, free popcorn and ice-cream in the afternoon, free movies to watch in the room. Like I said, I've never seen anything like this place...esp since the recession started. They have outdone themselves!

Carpet needs replacing and central AC out in lobby

While 2nd floor Room was fine, the hall on second floor stunk like cigarettes, even though half the floor was non-smoking. Carpet in all halls was in serious need of replacing, and 3rd floor rooms were musty and moldy. Beds were great, though, and people on staff were very nice. Convenient location.

Great place to stay for the money!

It is a safe place and convenient to the beach and all the shopping. It is also in a great area for walking with the beach only a couple blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a clean hotel and very quiet. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Easily Accessible!

This hotel was easily accessible to shopping (Destin Commons right across the street with a Rave Theatre) great free outdoor activities for the kids at the Destin Commons by the way. We stayed here at a discount due to a timeshare offer so the price was right, however the regular rate was $179/night NOT WORTH IT in my opinion because the rooms are so small the pillows were not comfortable to me at all. Bring your OWN!!!! The hotel was extremely clean and it smelled great. The staff was helpful. The free breakfast was a winner!!!! The little lady that puts the food out was amazing and very sweet. Great family hotel and easily accessible to shopping, dining, and the beach.

BEYOND what I expected!!!

My stay at the Mid Bay Bridge Holiday Inn was beyond great! The service was amazing, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fresh, the area was clean, and the new room look completely blew me away! The room smelled refreshing! The amenities were better than a 4 star hotel! Very impressed! I already made my next reservation to stay here!

GREAT LOCATION

Not on the beach but within a couple blocks. The hotel is well staffed and there are many restaurants and several shopping centers nearby. Also its near the Mid Bay bridge. One negative is that the windows do NOT open -- when in FL I'd like to open the window to get some fresh air! Also free internet is great!

Holiday Inn Express

Hotel very close to all atractions. Beach only couple of blocks away. You could walk to beach without problem. Breakfast is free and very good. Hotel very clean. The bed was very hard and made for difficult sleep. Will return many more times to Destin and have no reason not to stay at this hotel.

FAB. Location

This hotel had a great location. Just over a block to the beach and I did not have to walk across hwy 98. The location is excellant to shopping and resterants as well. The hotel was very clean and the staff was not only helpful but friendly.

Good place to stay

The rooms were very clean, and the service was friendly and prompt. The location is right across the street from the Destin Commons, an outdoor shopping mall, and just a block or so away from the beach, which was nice. I enjoyed my stay here.
