not much to dislike, employees were nice, place was clean, called the hotel direct for a reservation and received a great price. Ask for a "quiet" room, they put us in a room in the corner, it was great!

We had several teams stay here last weekend, and it was by FAR the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was SO rude. The rooms were dated and very dirty. They had a "team breakfast" that was made up of disgusting eggs and undercooked sausage. The staff in the restaurant was condescending and suggested that we may be better served at a fast food restaurant since we ordered food to take back to our room. Our suite was near the elevator, so we heard beeping all night long. The walls are paper thin, we could hear people talking in the next room. We asked for a late check out since we didn't have another game till 2:00 and was told we could only stay 30 minutes later. Would not suggest staying here. Hopefully our soccer club drops them also.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was ok. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

We were treated well, greated professionally, and the room was emaculate. Beds were perfect. Much nicer stay than the Hyatt on the Plaza.

Upon arrival, we were not greeted in a friendly manner- the woman was (in a sense) quite rude. There was some type of music contest going on and there were musicians on just about every floor with doors banging. We requested a new room and then next door people were exremely loud at 1:30 in the morning. After complaining upon check-out- oh well, sorry. Will NOT go back again.

We live in the Kansas City Mo. area and were host to our family reunion for the first time.We were getting pretty frustrated because we could not find an acceptable hotel that could accomodate 300+ people. We finally decided to go to The Doubletree before deciding to let someone else take over this much difficult task. The Sales Manger was just great with helping us plan our big event. She even suggested to us that Shawnee Park would be a nice park for our huge family picnic. The banquet hall for our Banquet dinner and Dance was set up beautifully with our specified colors and we were very pleased with the outcome. The selected menu with help from the Sales Manager again was prepared to perfection.The Front Desk was very friendly and oooh so accomodating, especially with such a large group. All of the sleeping rooms according to our guests were very nice and clean. This event was a huge success with the help of The Doubletree staff and according to our special guests, was the best well planned reunion that they had attended in 29 years for this annual event. I can't thank your staff enough for all their help and will suggest this hotel to all of my friends for all of their special events. Cudos to their fantastic staff.

This place must have been something in the 80's! I attended a conference at the location. The meeting rooms were very warm and uncomfortable. My hotel room was fine and very quiet. For the money, I'll probably try someplace else next time.
