Avoid this business at all costs

I cancelled my stay before arriving after reading the horrific reviews about this place. This reservation was made by accident on Cheaptickets. I tried to call several times and had cheap tickets call to try to get a refund. The hotel claimed a "non-refundable" policy on 100% of the money paid (two nights costing $400 total) despite that I tried to cancel with 48 hours notice. The hotel attendant told me that I could call his mother who was the manager but that she would not be able to change the policy. When I spoke to Don (the manager of four other hotels through National Hotels) her attitude was extremely rude from the get go. She cursed on the phone and when I asked to speak to someone else, she put her husband on the phone who ended up hanging up on me. They claimed to be angry because cheap tickets had called them several times. They responded indifferently when I brought it to their attention that the reviews of their hotel are extremely poor (reports of bed bugs, filth on the floor, dirty sheets, mold on the walls, vandalism in the parking lot).
