Comfort Inn and Suites Taylor, Taylor

The staff was very rude, my daughter turned 10 and we were having a slumber party for her. There were 2 rooms in which 5 girls would be in one and myslef in the other. There were parents dropping their daughters off and the front desk called and stated we had to many people in the room. I explained that they were just dropping off there daughters and would be leaving. They were very rude and still said to many people, my mother and sister came to sing my daugjter happy birthday and the hotel manager proceeded to tell me my card was charged $20 per person that was in the room. I explained they are just singing to my daughter and having cake and ice cream. The lady said to bad I already charged your card. I called the police to report the unauthorized charges and the manager kicked us out the hotel, We went to another hotel and after leaving the hotel came to realize they charged my card again for another night. PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT STAY HERE. THERE INDEPENDANTLY OWNED.......

We did not even end up staying at this hotel due to the very un-professional staff members. The only staff that was on duty that day with a professional pleasant attitude where the cleaning ladies. The Supervisor Rapi was so very un-professional and ignorant to the abillity to make a customer happy. We made reservations to stay at this hotel for a 13yr. old childs birthday. It was one adult and 5 young girls. We had a few parents who came in and met the adult staying and dropped there child off with us and then my brother, husband and son came in to help carry the pop, chips and etc. and to check out the room and hotel and then they left. We had only been in the room 5 min. at which time the supervisor called the room and stated that we have too many people in the room and the next step will be to contact the police and have us removed. Just before we got there one of the girls came before we did and asked the front desk clerk Amanda what room at which time Amanda stated to a 13 yr. old child (not accompanied by an adult at the time) that if there are more than 4 people in the room they will call and warn and then call the police. We went to the front desk to inquire as to what the problem is at which time the supervisor rudly stated that we have too many people in the room and only 4 can stay. We stated that we will need to check out then and get a refund to go somewhere that can accomodate us at which time she stated that we can get a refund however not until tomorrow since there is no manager on duty until then (even though the sign glued on the wall states manager always on duty) We contacted the 800 number who contected the supervisor at which time the supervisor continued to make statements that where untrue and refused to contact the manager on duty. We have stayed at alot of hotels with pools to give our children something to due mostly in the winter time and have never been treated with so much disrespect and ignorance. The supervisor acted as though she was dealing with an un-educated push over which in fact was not the case. Rapi the supervisor should not be in any position that deals with the public since she does not have the ability to deal with the public in a professional pleasant manner. I do know that in this area there are so manny more hotels to stay in that are cleaner, larger rooms for less, larger pool by far and much more pleasant professional employees.

We arrived to find everything about this hotel much better than expected. The front desk staff and breakfast server were all friendly and very attentive to our needs. The AC in the room didn't work very well, I think it was too small for the space. But the bath area has a window, that opens which is perfect for applying makeup and fresh air. The view out was of a neighborhood, trees and grass, very nice for a hotel right off the interstate. The bed was comfortable, the pillows could have been larger though. The pool area was very nice, great temperature and mostly clean. Towels were provided and there were plenty there. Even though there was a large family reunion going on and kids were running through the halls, I did hear the front desk clerk ask them to stop, which was nice to see. I would return to this hotel and recommend it for families.

Thought it was well priced. Liked the breakfast. Good location right on Telegraph Road. Staff was wonderful. Really caring and genuine. They gave us maps to good restaurants and parks suitable for my 2 year old son. We got free passes to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford museum as part of package. Did not get to use pool, but it did look good. Rooms were not large, but adequate.

The rooms were nice like most in there class, and they were clean. The pool was nice as well. Work out facility could use some work.
