Overall Very Satisfied
By Nathan, 02/16/09
We had the previous experience as another reviewer that our keys stopped working and were told our cell phones had de-magnetized them...but the staff was very polite about it. We did hear quite a bit of hallway noise but nothing we couldn't tolerate. It had an excellent location for us and we got a great deal on our room($60/night thru priceline). Very spacious room, very clean, great value for what we paid, and the beds were extraordinarily comfortable. We will definately go back again.

Disappointed
By Disappointed, 12/24/08
I just noticed the bad review done in September and thought I would chime in. Things have not improved since May 2008. We stayed there in May 08. We had been involved in a minor accident earlier that day and was hoping for a nice evening to recuperate as also my wife was not feeling well. Wrong!! First, when we went to the assigned room, we opened the door only to find the room was already occupied. Got a new room which was located on back side of motel. Went in though the back of hotel only to be met by a man was was acting crazy. The last straw was when in the middle of night a bill for a pay per view movie was slipped under the door. The TV hadn't even been turned on. Management the next day had just an "oh well" attitude about the whole thing.

Won't go Back!
By LINDA, 10/01/08
We stayed one night on 9-27-08, the walls are paper thin.I was awaken around 11.30 pm by people in the room next to me.They were slaming doors and talking loud or I thought they were talking loud untill I heard one of them sneeze.I did not go bqck to sleep till after 1am when they stoped talking.I called the desk and asked to be moved and they said they could not move us but that they would asked them to be quite. That did not work, they only got louder and slamed the door several more times. The positive about this hotel is that the bed was nice and felt good, the desk was a good place to fix my face the next morning and the desk chair was nice to sit in.We were up stairs the hotel has no elevators or cont. breakfast.

Poor choice
By DT, 01/26/08
My first room was filthy. After complaining, the manger relocated me into a cleaner room. Despite a recent renovation, so they claim, the smell was awful in the new room as well. The staff was very arrogant; especially the night staff. The hotel also seems to serve as a major lodge for TransAm truckers....need I say more??? Overall verdict: D- ; therefore, never again.

I would never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/11/07
I stayed there about a month ago.. the lobby looks fine but the room I was in was terrible. I called several other hotels in the area to try and move. They were all booked up. Black mold in the bathroom, wall paper peeling off the wall in the room and stained, carpet separated from the wall. It was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot. I understand they will be renovating... they better hurry up!

Newly Renovated!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/06/07
This hotel has the most up to date rooms that I have ever seen from Holiday Inn. Under new ownership and management and they really know what they are doing! I will stay here again no question about it! 2/06/07

Hotel is very unsafe!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/06
Room was located in back of hotel. Very dark entrance. I stayed 6 days. Every day we had to make an average of 3-4 keys to get into outside door & room. We were told that it was our fault, beause our cell phone and credit cards demagtized the cards. The last 3 days, the only magnet I had it near was my rear. I kept it in my hip pocket with nothing else. One night, by the time I hand carried it back to the room, I went out to my car and it would not let me back in. Again it is dark & unsafe to have to walk around to get a new card. Nothing was done in 6 days to remedy this situation at all. THEY DID NOT CARE!!! I heard from other residents that they were having the same problem getting in. Also I did not receive a wake up call, making me late to work by 37 minutes one morning. Personnel treat you nice, but seemed to be lip service only.

Could be better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/05
The overall hotel is pretty good, but the inescapable smell of pool hall like smoke was very discomforting. When I want smoke free I really want smoke free. The hotel is located well, has nice room and layout, but just lacks that real clean feeling that I need in a hotel. I also had trouble finding a phone line for the computer and a plugin that was was easy to reach. In all fairness it has been a couple of years since I was there; things can and do change.
