Days Inn Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach

the fridge had a bad smell. no long distance phone service. the fence was broken. no coffee in the lobby. the bed was hard as a rock. i wpuldn't stay here again.

I have stayed in many hotels on the beach, too pricey and they are dumps. We like to drive on the beach so, not staying on the beach is not a problem for us. This is our favorite hotel, the owners are nice and so are the employees. Rooms are clean and we feel safe here. the pool is nice and clean, not lots of screaming kids and people piled in! The price is way better than others. Just a few minutes from the beach, and resturants in daytona.

A bare bones place, but decently clean and updated. The discounted pay-in-advance rate (they don't really charge your cc until you get there) only features smoking rooms. There is free parking but if you arrive back at the hotel late at night, you may be out of luck on a busy weekend. Two miles from the beach, so if you drive over there, you'll have to pay to park, but its convenient to the speedway. The pool is tiny - tucked into the parking lot. The continental breakfast is pitiful, but at least its coffee until one can get elsewhere. There are a lot worse places in Daytona, at higher prices.
