Hotel did not live up to the Sheraton brand!!
We live only an hour away and travel to Myrtle Beach quite often. We have stayed at the Hilton, Anderson Beach club, and the Dunes Village, and loved them all. We will never stay at this Sheraton again. The hotel was dirty and the hallway carpet was black and had a bad smell. The Pool area was dirty and the hottub was dirty also. I knew it wasn't on the beach, but didn't care since we were going to do things during the day anyways. We stayed 3 nights, the hotel staff was not nice. Our hotel room had sunflower seeds on our floor along with other stuff when we checked in. We later found rat droppings on our floor and called the front desk and they never called us back. I didn't even want to stay the last night, but we had plans. Very disappointed, but now I know to stick to the ones that I have stayed at in the past and not try anything new. All of the three above are really clean and nice not like what we experienced at the Sheraton.
