Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/21/07
We were there Feb.16-18th 2007 and choose this hotel because we had a small pet with us.The hotel has convenient areas for pet walking and on checkin offered a dog bed if we needed it.Our non-smoking room on the 3rd floor was excellent-great bed and away from the elevator. The fitness ctr, pool and spa is located on the 3rd floor. The front desk staff, and housekeepings staff were very nice and garage parking was convenient with easy access to the hotel. The hotel location is within easy driving distance of shopping, restaurants, and the beach and @ this time of the season traffic is not an issue.I would have preferred hi-speed internet access in the room, but you could access it on the 2nd floor, lobby and of course the business center. The coffee bar, restaurant and bar was located on the 2nd floor and we did eat in the restaurant on the night of arrival because we were tired and didn't want to drive out.The restaurant service was excellent but I think they were understaffed for the # of people in the restaurant that evening.I would have thought that for the hotel size and attached convention center that they would have had more than one restaurant.Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Worked a miracle for our family
By chris, 7/8/09
We had a great vacation! The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our rooms were very clean & well stocked. My father had an accident & was in the hospital while on our vacation. I called the manager-Logan- & explained he was going to have emergency surgery and our whole family was staying there & supposed to check out friday morning. He gave us a great reduced rate as well as extended our reservations for the entire weekend so we can be in town for my dad's surgery. This was 4th of July weekend & ALL hotels were booked up but the hotel manager worked with my family & we WILL stay with them again in the future!

treated like a star
By ChasidyA, 5/5/06
I give this hotel 10 Stars... I would recomend it to all of my closest friends.... It's been three years since I stayed here. But my time spent here was wonderful. The Service was amazing, the staff excellent, and never once did I have a problem with and of the hotel staff.

I'll Be Back
By Jim C, 1/10/06
This was my first visit..... I was only there one night. When I got ready to check out, the Lady at the desk addressed me by name, even though I had never seen her. THIS is what I call top drawer service. I look forward to my next visit to this first class hotel.

Don't even think about it!
By Scott, 10/31/05
What is now called the Sheraton, was the most awful and unpleasant stay my husband and I have ever experienced. The staff in the off season is lazy and ignorant. Food was left in a non-working refridgerator, back when this hotel was the Radisson, which of course left our room smelling horrible. Vadillia's restaurant serves you orange juice in dirty glasses with bits and pieces of god only knows what, leftover from sitting in a sink.(And it could be seen at every table!) The only things that were good about our stay was that it was only two blocks from Broadway at the Beach, and two blocks from the beach. We paid for what we though was going to be a nice romantic honeymoon, and we were over-charged at over $200 for one night that runied our weekend. Thanks for nothing Sheraton!

Not on the beach!!! Location is not for beachgoers!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/07
This hotel is not on the beach. If you see a four star hotel offering on hotwire or such sites, this is the hotel. This hotel should be classified as three star.
