We took advantage of promotional rooms; two nights we found a large cricket in our room; later we verified that place had bed bugs - really; all three of us had bites and one of us had it bad, so she saw a doctor - really unnerving.

Peaceful Getaway

This hotel is great for families or couples. It's a nice drive through the reservation and the desert, but closer than most people think. The hotel has an array of southwestern decor, art created by native american artists, and music to sooth you. The hotel offers a few restaurants and relaxing lounges. A large pool area with multiple pools for adults and children, including a water slide. The pool bar is definitely worth hanging out at. There are tons of outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, and boating on the mini man made river. There is a great night life at the Casino and it's theatre. The rooms are very clean and very modern, average size but plenty of space for families or just singles. There is plenty of parking and plenty of wild life to be seen in the desert. And, it is just a short drive from Chandler/Ahwatukee to get to major shopping and dining areas.

Out of sight, out of mind

My husband and I wanted a get-away from the Canadian winter and visited in late Feb. The grounds and facilities were very nice, the personnel on-site service oriented. We really enjoyed the solitude, although the place was full. Mostly there were business convention guests so they weren't around the grounds during the day. If you stay on the grounds all the time, you won't experience the hassle of getting in/out from Interstate 10. The same 4-lane divided road is shared by Rawhide (a family dinner theatre/Western attraction), an annoying drag raceway that you can hear while on the resort grounds, and a casino. On weekends, they have police and barricades set up to direct traffic and it's a bottleneck to get in and out of the grounds. Plan ahead! We are left with a diminished impression of the resort, since we were overcharged on our last 2 nights. Upon checkout, the front desk said the system was down but they would rectify our folio, and email us a revised copy, which never happened. Our credit card then got overcharged, so I emailed the resort, and also called and left a message in their Accounts dept. A month later, still no word so I had to go through Sheraton corporate head office to get a resolution. It was like once we left the place, the customer service ended, even when they made a mistake. A disappointing ending that mars our impression of the place.

Simply the Best!

This is a wonderful place to get away and just relax. There is plenty to do and the fact that it is out of the way is what makes it an even better place to get away to. The staff is exceptional and service here is so great that they make you feel special! I would highly recommend!

Wonderful! Can't wait to go back.

This resort is wonderful. It's tucked back in the middle of nowhere. The "Gila River" lines the property. There are three pools and a water slide. The pools are next to te river and golf course. The restaurant food was priced a little high, but everything was wonderful. The service here is incredible - one of the best customer service hotels I have ever stayed in. Sheraton must train their staff well - everyone was extremely polite, courteous and helpful and made you feel like royalty. We didn't get a chance to hit the spa and 5 diamond restaurant, but they look wonderful.

The Best place to relax

We loved everything, the Hotel is so peaceful. The restuarant was Excellent, David was our server and he suggested "The Tasting", this is the thing to do!!! (Kia). The watertaxi topped the cake. We had a wonderful time. Thanks

WOWW! I WAS IMPRESSED!

I loved it so much im coming back to stay there again! I'm a pretty picky and judgemental person and I honestly had nothing to say negative about this place! everyone was kind, the pool is amazing, with fun slides and a hot bubbling jacuzzi at night!! the food was good and the rooms were cozy!!

BEAUTIFUL SOLITUDE

WE HAVE STAYED 2X IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS. WE LIVE IN PHX. THIS HOTEL HAS SUCH A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE, BEAUTIFUL DECO, FANTASTIC ROOMS WITH BEDS TO CUDDLE IN. WE COME TO THE HOTEL FOR PEACE AND SOLITUDE. WE'VE TRAVELED THE WORLD, BUT NOTHING HAS TOPPED THE SHERATON WILD HORSE PASSE. THE FOOD, AMBIANCE, POOL, LIVE BAND AT THE POOL,SUNSETS, YOU CAN ASK FOR NOTHING MORE. IF YOU HAVE NOT STAYED HERE, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US AS GUESTS.

Our experience was great! Beautiful surroundings! The atmosphere,piped in music was so serene. We absolutely loved it.The food, the spa, excellent in every way. I tell everyone I know who is planning a trip that a must place to go, is Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa.
