Great Little Secret
By ,
On our first trip to Key West last month, we had to guess about where to stay when making reservations – We were scoping the place out for potential future visits. Based on our conversations with Barbara, the Weatherstation Inn’s manager, we chose to stay there. What a great choice that was! Barbara, Paris, and the rest of the staff were wonderfully helpful and the property was exquisitely maintained. The room was exactly as Barbara had described, and was bigger than it seemed in the picture on the website. It was great being off the beaten path, but a mere two block walk or so (and a pretty walk at that) got us to Mallory Square and the head of Duval St. We got to peek into a couple of other rooms and they all looked spectacular, and we never heard any of the other guests stirring – They sure don’t make them like they used to. We won’t be telling our families about this place (because if they want to join us down there, they can stay somewhere else!), but we’re happy to share with you what a great experience we had.

Quiet B & B; Location, location!
By ,
Weatherstation Inn has the only rooftop sundeck with an oceanview in the Key West area, & the pool in back is quiet & relaxing. You can eat breakfast poolside! Each of the 8 rooms has a unique color theme & feel to it. Sea Lavender & Beachgrass, 2nd floor, share a large balcony with partial oceanviews. Great if you want rooms next to each other. Grand Bahama has a private balcony, 2nd floor, & is perfect for a romantic ambiance. It looks out over a quiet, private gated neighborhood, lush with trees. Truman Annex has beautiful white homes, & is a great place for walking. It's a fantastic location, 2 blocks to downtown, yet quiet. Rooms have either a queen or a king bed. The Garden room has two twin beds & a poolview. Guests need to be at least 13 yrs. old. Their breakfast is delicious, incl. fresh pastries/croissant, Baby's Coffee, fresh fruit & quiche. This gem is a real find in Key West! It's all about a fantastic location & accomodating staff, two blocks to the ocean! Relaxing...

Going Back
By ,
I loved the location; a nice walk to Mallory Square and only a 10 minute walk to a seculeded beach with grills. My wife and I originally planned for only one nights stay in the hotel but after realizing how close it was to everything and the great rate we received we decided to stay for three more nights. We are going back for a week next month.

Too Loud
By ,
We took a tour of one of the bedrooms on the ground level, the room was very clean and pretty , we then wanted to see the pool area out back , the air conditioning units are right there and while standing there , the units came on , they were so very loud that there was no way you could relax by the pool with them running, what a shame as it ruined the outdoor ambience for sure..

pleasant surprise
By ,
The first time my boyfriend and I booked a room at this little B&B, we weren't expecting much, given the low price. But we quickly realized we had stumbled across a super deal. It's within easy walking distance to all of the restaurants, shops and night life, but away from the noise in its own gated community. The staff helped us plan snorkeling and jet skiing, and had great recommendations on where to eat. And our room was stunning. The bed room was charming and the bathroom was elegant with a huge glass-enclosed tile shower. It's much more than any hotel on the key could offer. We won't stay anywhere else.

Worth Returning
By ,
We decided to take a chance on this place. It was off the beaten path, and we had always stayed in hotels before. We could not have made a better decision. It is only a few blocks from Duval St., but when you want to get away from the noise and madness of Duval St., you can. Gated entry into the Truman Annex after 6 pm affords privacy. Nice quaint pool, pleasant breakfast, off-street parking, clean and well-kept rooms, and a wonderful staff. We will stay here again when we return to Key West next summer.

Takes you away from the madness of Duval Street just blocks away. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Nice, quiet and most importantly, relaxing.
