i love this place!! its the best place to stay and its new too so like everything is in good condition..like omg i stayed there and it was the best memories

NJ rude, as usual

You walk in and since you are just an ordinary schmo... they immediately fail to smile back, say good afternoon and generally lack the normal kind of "customer service" you expect from the allegedly 'classiest' place in Atlantic City. I know this place is trying to be like the best, in line with Vegas, but it has a far way to go. I've been in 2 stars Casinos with more customer service than this 4 star monstrosity. If you're use to these attitudes, maybe it won't bother you.. I won't be back.. PS I thought the Casino floor was beautiful and cold.. like an ice castle.. no atmosphere at all.

It was very beautiful and people were very nice!The food was delicious and finally I could relax with out yelling on my street. There was nothing bad about the hotel!

We had a great time! Food was good not the best. Rooms were very cozy. Location is not the best. Signs can be confusing. Overall a wonderful stay.

I'll never stay there again

When we got there, we did not get the room type we reserved. Then, once in the room, we found the sheets on the beds to be dirty. There were little curly hairs on them. We complained, and they brought us clean sheets, but if we wanted them on immediately, we had to do it ourselves because they were short-staffed. They have some real personnel problems. The casino was smokey, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking area. The food was lousy. Service was bad and slow. We finally checked out and went to a different hotel/casino and had a great time. We will never go back to the Borgata again.

Upon arriving at the Borgata, which we had heard was the next best thing to Vegas, we were quickly disappointed. The first thing we did while waiting to check in, was go to the Buffet to eat brunch. Once we saw the bill, $25 per person, we were pretty angry because the food was only mediocre. After that, we proceeded to check in, which took forever. Our room was not at all what we expected nor was it worth $500 a night. Nevertheless, we headed down to the pool for some relaxation, only it was anything but relaxing. You may as well have called it a kiddie pool, because that was pretty much what it was. The other turn-off was the fact that there were past out drunk people asleep on the lounge chairs and it wasn't really clean at all. The dinner at the buffet was also extremely expensive and not even that great. Totally overrated and overpriced. Not impressed at all and will never go back.

Rude Staff, Poor Service, Cheap Casino

I'd say this is the worst gaming experience I've had in 30 years of going to casinos. If you go to casinos and play and understand what the deal is.... stay away. Staff is rude from the check in people to the casino hosts. If your host tells you have a type of suite and or service they lie to get you in then change things. Then they tell you a high roller showed up. Well I've bet up to $2000.00 per HAND and they even pulled this with me. I go on here for hours but I won't bore you. Just take the advice of someone who has had eneough bad service from the Borgata to never go back again. Even if you paid my markers I would NOT go back. How's THAT!!!!!!!!!

the best casino around.

i have been going there since they opened no other could satisfy me.the personel working there are very well trained and disiplined.the setup of the casino floor is the best i have seen.i tried mohegan sun last week after six years.i couldnot wait to leave. my coments have been conveyed to the staff. i havnt been to las vegas since,after 12 years. joe armonk n.y.

first impressions!

I stayed at the Borgata for the first time July 3rd & although everyone told me what a beautiful hotel it was, seeing it & having the pleasure to stay there is a great memory!! The bathroom alone (yes, the bathroom) was gorgeous....the food was delicious & the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the Borgata to anyone! Can't wait to visit again!!!!!

Borgata is one to remember!!

My mom is a poker player and she loves the Borgata. She goes every other week for tournaments and such. We usually stay at caesars but wow this was great. I don't really go with her all the time because of my own obligations. But she insisted on joining her with some of my friends to the Borgata. Well let me tell you Caesars just got the boot. My mom stayed at caesars because of the Pier (high-end shops and w/e). The borgata didn't have the fancy shops but it had an awesome casino floor, huge pool with MUSIC UNDER THE WATER and 2 extremely HOT hot tubs. The staff is awesome expect for Gina at the front desk if you get her make sure you let someone cut you. Otherwise the Staff is great and the buffet is amazing!!!! The room was nice for the first 2 days we were in a regular room than upgraded to a suite. The regular room was nice (huge shower) and separate bathroom. The suite was beautiful excellent views from almost any room in the hotel. The gym and Spa was also a PLUS the spa is very exclusive. I loved it so much I will be back next week!! O and Mer Mer is awesome!!
